Channel 4: Surgery Live launch
Sparkloop has created an innovative interactive website for Channel 4, enabling Surgery Live viewers to watch and interact with surgeons as they performed operations.
For four consecutive nights, top surgeons carried out life-changing operations in front of a studio audience and live on Channel 4. While performing brain surgery on an awake patient, open heart surgery and more, our surgeons answered viewer’s questions live.
Viewer response to David Payne’s open heart surgery by Francis wells was phenomenal. A deluge of questions poured in throughout the operation, ranging from a discussion of the risks involved to how relaxed the surgical team were feeling! During the programme’s airing became the third most popular trending topic on Twitter.
